Mongol Tattoos
Traditional techniques with bold colors and sharp outlines that flow with your body and tell a story — all while honoring the traditional art and spirituality of Japanese tattooing.

About Me
Ghengis runs Mongol Tattoos out of New York City, six years deep in traditional Japanese tattooing — bold lines, rich color, and work that moves with your body the way it was always meant to.
Every piece starts with a conversation. Your story, your body, the art — those three things have to work together, and that's exactly what we figure out before a single needle touches skin. Nothing gets rushed. Full-day sessions only, because that's what the work demands.
The studio doesn't feel like a sterile white box. Fur rugs, leather, pillows — it's the kind of space where you actually settle in. You're sitting for seven hours, so you might as well be somewhere that feels human.
Traditional Japanese tattooing carries real weight — spiritually, artistically, historically. That's not lost on me. The bold colors and sharp outlines aren't just aesthetic choices; they're part of a language refined over centuries. What we build together fits your body and tells your story, while staying true to that lineage.
